Dr. Sharif is currently a contracted provider with Regence, Premera, Lifewise, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, First Choice Health, Uniform, and Providence. There are Kaiser Permanente plans that cover Dr. Sharif and some that don’t. Therefore, you will need to call the insurance company to find that out.
The two STATE insurance companies that Dr. Sharif is contracted with are Molina and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan.
We ask that you call the phone number on the back of your insurance card to verify if your group covers Naturopathic physician office visits. You can ask them what your coverage is, as it is your insurance company who determines your responsibility for payment. As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance if you have coverage to visit a naturopathic doctor. Some insurance companies consider ND’s as specialists and some consider ND’s a PCP- Your insurance agent can let you know that as well.
